Dr. Robert Birch

Dr. Robs’ first experience with chiropractic was at the age of 6. “My parents routinely took me and my sister to our family chiropractor, Dr. Powers, for routine check-ups.” I learned about the use of a chiropractor in a sports injury setting when I was studying sports medicine at New Mexico State University and have seen some remarkable results for treating chronic ankle, knee and lower back problems.

I have truly been blessed to see clients ranging from a few seconds old (Gavin our son) to over 98 years young. Modern chiropractic has life-changing rewards for all who use it!

Dr. Birch uses a “whole person approach”. This approach to wellness means looking for underlying causes of any disturbance or disruption (which may or may not be causing symptoms at the time) and make whatever interventions and lifestyle adjustments that would optimize the conditions for normal function. Using this unique approach, Dr. Birch is able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.Dr. Robert Birch is a board licensed chiropractor is board certified in integrative medicine and is a recent graduate of the American Functional Neurology Institute.

Over the past 10 years, Dr. Birch has found that while traditional chiropractic methods are quite effective for acute situations, there was a large gap in patients receiving great outcomes with chronic health conditions. “Our chronic condition patients were only receiving minor and not long lasting results with our traditional chiropractic approach so we went on a journey to find out how we can best support our clients and empower them so that they, in turn, will experience great outcomes!”

What Dr. Birch and Dr. Porrone found was that the traditional philosophy of chiropractic was being lost in the mix of every day practice. Traditionally, chiropractic was based on the fact that the human body needed to have limited chemical, physical and emotional stress in order to work appropriately. “We were doing a great job at decreasing the physical stressors and working within physical medicine and physical therapy but the chemical stressors were overwhelming a majority of our clients physiology.”

Three years ago, Dr. Birch and Dr. Porrone set out to find out how to best bring in the trinity of health to their practice. What they found has profoundly changed the way that they bring care to their practice members. Chemical toxicity and deficiency trump the physical problems, when we can support the correct pathways, the body has a much better chance at healing. When we combine the latest in functional medicine, chiropractic functional neurology and brain entrainment with neurofeedback, we can offer the absolute best care possible for anyone that chooses to improve their health!
